Refund policy

Because every product is produced on demand specifically for each customer, we only accept returns for defective products. This includes:
- —Damaged products — items that arrive broken, torn, or with manufacturing defects
- —Misprinted products — items with printing errors, wrong colors, or print defects from production
- —Wrong items shipped — different product, size, or color than what was ordered
- —Stitching or fabric defects — quality issues with the materials
- —Buyer's remorse — change of mind after the order is placed
- —Wrong size ordered — please check our size guide before ordering (use exchange instead)
- —Personalized or custom products — unless they arrive defective
- —Slight color variations — minor differences between screen and physical product (normal in print-on-demand)
- —Items washed or worn — unless the defect was already present on arrival
- —Carrier or customs delays — outside of our control
Yes — we accept exchanges. If you ordered the wrong size or want to swap for a different size/color of the same product, we'll exchange it within 14 days of delivery, subject to availability.
- —Item must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition
- —Original tags must be attached
- —Exchange request must be submitted within 14 days of delivery
- —Customer is responsible for return shipping costs to send the original item back
- —We cover the shipping of the replacement item back to you
Exchanges are subject to product availability. If your desired replacement is out of stock, we'll offer store credit or a refund of the product value.
All return or exchange requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery. Requests submitted after 14 days will not be accepted.
To start a return or exchange, email Admin@the48.shop within 14 days of delivery and include:
- —Your order number
- —Type of request: Return (for defects) or Exchange (for size/color swap)
- —Clear photos of the issue (for returns) or current product (for exchanges)
- —For exchanges: specify the new size or color you want
- —A brief description of the issue or reason for exchange
Our team will review your request within 2–3 business days and respond with next steps, including a return shipping address if applicable.
For defective products: No need to ship the item back unless we specifically request it. We'll replace or refund based on the photo evidence.
For exchanges: The customer covers the shipping cost to send the original item back. We cover the shipping of the replacement item.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service for any return. We are not responsible for items lost in transit during the return process.
Once your return is approved and processed (for defective products), refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or card issuer.
Original shipping fees are non-refundable, except in cases where the return is due to our error (defect, misprint, or wrong item shipped).
Orders can only be canceled within 24 hours of placement, before production begins. Once production has started, the order cannot be canceled or modified.
If your package shows no movement for 15+ business days after shipping, contact us at Admin@the48.shop. We'll work with the carrier to locate it or arrange a replacement at no cost.
